A Walk About With Larry

“Why haven’t you been writing”….properly prodded and preparing

OK, so many friends have asked me why I am not writing. Typically, I don’t feel inspired to write until I’m traveling. That will be happening in 28 days which are moving extremely fast. What am I doing?!

I had not idea how much is involved in being gone for a trip of this length. WHEW! Shopping lists, trip supplies, coordinating with new friends who will be living in my home while I am gone, new website and ALL the patience involved in learning that, camera shopping (still haven’t found a new one), back-up bank account, the list goes on.

In the next day or two, I’ll do a pre-pack for my trip. I’ll pull out everything I think I need, organize it, add the new stuff I’ve bought but never traveled with before and see how it all fits.

Yesterday I learned that Singapore Airlines allows only one piece of luggage in the cabin and it can’t weigh more than 15 pounds. I’ve never traveled with anything electronic before and have yet figured out how best to travel with it? I also learned that Singapore Airlines won’t allow customers to bring any food onboard. The good news: their galley is always open during the flight and baskets of fruit, sandwiches, snack bars, cookies, juices, drinks, soups, etc. are regularly available during any time during the flight.

The other good news, they don’t really check. Any raw food snacks I make I plan to take along. Shhhhh, keep it secret! I’ll make a few things for good nutrition while in flight, not much, but a little makes a huge difference.

I’ll do a better job from now on to post and let you know what’s happening with me and my travel plans. If you want to hear about anything in specific, please let me know and I’ll see if I can include it!

Ciao….

  1. Larry, it was so good to see you at the Dispenza workshop. I love doing that meditation. I gave Doug and Therese your blog address. Trust your trip prep will be seamless and I so look forward to reading about your adventure. Plus I thought it was interesting that the Howard Thurman quote you use on your card is the one I use on my email signature!
    Best, Carol

    1. Hi Carol,
I’m leaving shortly for a training in Wyoming. Eerie really as I leave two weeks from today for my trip! This is my final training of the year.

Love that quote and it really strikes home about what matters. I’ve got several others I’ll post here before long.

I’m doing the meditation each morning and am even dreaming about a greater version of myself at night. Interesting waking up with insights on what to change, clear up, upgrade or simply let go.

      Take care! Larry
