A Walk About With Larry

Travel flow!

I traveled today.  It’s the first day I’ve taken off with my pack and gone exploring for a couple nights.  And it’s early, compared to past trips.  When I saw the Dr. Chow yesterday, she took my pulse and then asked me if I had any pain?  No.  “How do you feel?”  Very good!

Pulse was strong.  Little bit of heat in the body.  Only need to drink lots of water and rest.  No need for acupuncture or medicine.  Yay!  That was fast!

This morning,  I put my extra stuff in a bag in storage and headed off.  I took the LRT to KL Sentral station.  There I changed to the train which took me to TBS Bus station.  All that transportation cost me about $15 MYR or less than $4.00 US.  It included the 2  hour ride to Malaka.

Some photo’s of the trip….

Sadly, I lost my favorite water bottle today!  It apparently fell out of my pack in the jostling and I forgot to attach the carabiner.  It’s been on so many adventures with me, it feels like a small loss.  Now,  I’m shopping for a new travel water bottle companion!

Fortune shined upon me today traveling.  Everything flowed.  I left early since I was unfamiliar with all the pieces so wanted extra time.  It helped!   Once  we arrived here, I was approached by a taxi driver who charged what I expected.  Once in the car, it started pouring rain!  I had a sheltered exit once here to the hostel.  After quickly dropping my pack, I went down to the cafe for something to eat.  Had a really good coffee and an English Breakfast!

Had an awesome afternoon walking and exploring!  The rain stopped while I was having lunch!  Perfect!

This is a UNESCO World Heritage city so there is a lot to see.  And of course  that included shopping malls!  I saw  an A&W  sign so  walked  in to have a look.  MASSIVE mall!   Good exercise  walking around exploring especially since it was cool inside!

Some views from  my walk around town.  Notice that  I did fine the “Daily Fix”  coffee shop.  Really good!

Now, I  have to find an adapter tonight so I can charge things up.  Left mine at home and they don’t have the outlets here that work without!
