Finally...and finally!
It’s been nearly 3 years since I came back from my 10 months of travel. Finally, I am able to get on the road and travel again. However, I felt like I was actually learning how to do that again after so much time away! Learning where things are stored. Learning what favorite things to have with me now. Sorting through things. Getting my pack ready. Wondering how, if I can travel with so little, how come there is so much “stuff” in my home?
Maybe it’s time to move into “Tiny House Community” living! There, you need to be clear on priorities every day!!
Finally....travel during times of covid!
Preparing for this trip with current regulations around Covid-19 has been HUGE!! GINORMOUS! A full time job!
First, I learned that traveling from the US to Singapore and then on to Bali is NOT as simple as it sounds.
Immediately, I needed to change my departure flight so I would be able to fall within the “2×24” hours limit for Bali. PCR test must be taken within that time frame from departure! Not 2 days! Moving it up places me in the window and also gives me about 3 plus hours additional waiting at the airport.
Well, in the big picture of 40 plus hours travel, 14 hour time change, what difference to two or three hours here and there really mean?
Beach image helps!
Honestly, after feeling a bit cooped up all winter, simply keeping this image in my mind is very helpful! This is my first stop in Bali, beach time to adjust from jetlag and time change. And maybe a massage?!

Little adventure please!
I borrowed this photo from the company I’m traveling with. Few tourist, private trips, challenge coordinating and I found these guys. There are others like this that meet my priority: local company where the money helps local community! I’ve wanted to get to Borneo for years, have pared down my objective and settled on this national park! Giant Fireflies, orangutan, probosic monkey, birds, etc…perfect. And all within a short distance of Bali.

Novel Stay...
Staff recommended this novel place which requires a boat taxi across the river. Looks novel, peaceful, in the forest and one the river. Why not start the adventure in someplace like this!?
