Tonight is my last night here at Hinterland Village Resort! I was leaving today but confusion on my ticket resulted in me missing a flight. That’s been great actually as I was able to get a flight in two days and have been able to spend more time here with new friends and four hours of yoga a day.
My body has certainly changed. Intuition guided me to the possibility of being here to loosen up my body after months of backpack travel and miles and miles of walking. I didn’t expect everything to loosen up so much and for pain to simply leave in hips and shoulders that have been really tight!
And I’ve been having great conversation with people from all over the world here for anywhere from a week to a month of yoga practice! It’s been nice to park my pack, get into a completely different rhythm and be in on place for so many days.
However, the schedule has been very intense! Yoga starts with tea at 6:00 am, yoga from 6:30 to 8:30, breakfast followed by a variety of classes. Noon is a meditation session until lunch at 1:00. Massage fits in there somewhere. A n appointment with the Ayurvedic doctor. Yoga 4:00 to 6:00 followed by dinner at 10:00. I was moving from one thing to another all day yesterday!
Tomorrow, I’m here until 9:00 pm and they are letting me stay in my room. My next flight leaves at 0:45 am and reached Bangkok at 6:15 am. I retrieve my pack, go through customs and such, clear security again, recheck my bag and have a flight around 10:00 to Yangon in Myanmar.
Feeling refreshed, I’m looking forward to the next adventure! Stay tuned. Here are some photo’s from the experience here.
Yangon myanmar. Be careful and have fun. So glad your hips and back are pain-free Yeehaw
How long will you stay in Myanma? How’s about Mui Ne Phan Thiet Vietnam after that? I will stay in Vietnam until May 18. It would be amazing to see you here. Take care and have fun traveling 🙂
Beautiful pictures. Great life you’re leading Larry. Enjoy! We finally are enjoying a 50-degree day in Wyoming!
Good life indeed! Very grateful! Wow…Wyoming heat wave?!
I’m in Myanmar and planning to move about the country day after tomorrow. For now, exploring Yangon.
Cheers!!
