I’ve been home for a little over a week. A week from today, I’ll be off on my next adventure. Strange being home between trips but, there were a lot of details to take care of so it worked well!
Now, nearly ready and I have a week, almost, to relax and wrap things up! Where to next? Stay tuned!
From the moment I landed in DIA and got off the plane, the energy here in the US was very different. Everything and everyone moves fast! I’ve had a fraction of the connected conversations I had in Mexico or Guatemala. I miss that!
Already, watching very little TV, I can do without another car, lawyer, or drug commercial! Yikes! How much money spent to twist people’s minds to what they can’t live without!
The gutters are cleaned, dead plants trimmed, neighbors dog poop removed from my lawn. Patio furniture is put up. Bird feeders and bird bath are full while I’m here and they love it!
Replacement items bought like my head lamp that broke, the shoes that didn’t work for me and new flip flops which are much more comfortable! A new memory card for my camera comes tomorrow. I got my international driver license today. New shirts for tropical environment laundered and ready to pack.
I’m downsizing from my last trip. I packed really well for two months but still had things I didn’t need or use. They will stay home. For a longer trip, I’m adjusting what I take and what I leave. Less nutritional supplements and only things that feel like essentials!
And no warm winter clothing!
Next up for me this coming week, some planning for where I want to go and what’s involved in getting there. Some exotic and unusual places and experiences are options for me!
Stay tuned and I’ll update you as plans come together!
