Inspired day!

No plan...then this happened!

When I woke today, I had no plan for the day.  If there was a plan, it was to listen, flow and have fun with my experience here!  No brochures or maps, just listened to what I was inspired to do!  I started on the rooftop early, alone and in the nice cool of the morning!  Perfect!

I heard water dripping then noticed a huge pool of water in the newly painted area behing the counter.  That is the area they are setting up as a bar!   A lake had formed, held in place by the fresh epoxy paint they put down.

Glancing under the counter, I saw where the water was dripping.  My farm experiences intruded perfectly!  I had no tools but was able to reverse the faucet, hold the nut below, turn the faucet back and the dripping stopped!  Tonight, hours later, the lake of water remains.  No one has looked at it!  That’s normal procedure here.  “I’ll call the owner” and that means their job is done!

Listening and flowing, feeling my way through the day!

Breakfast called but I didn’t know where!  Normally, my brain would kick in, debate the logic of going to one place or another and then rage from there.  Today, thad did NOT happen!  Today, I walked outside the front door and felt an urge to “go left”…so I did.  To the LRT line, back to KL Sentral and the shopping area, and to a great little coffee shop that had a lovely breakfast!

Sitting next to me was a couple I met from the UK…Birmingham.  Nice visit!

Then, on the way home, back on the LRT, off at my station, but…choosing to depart and exit a different way.  “Hmmmm….there is a bridge I’ve never been on?”  So off I went.  And I discovred the train that train that will take me to the bus station when I return!

Two more paths diverged from that office.  I asked if one went back to Central Market.  The woman looked at me and asked if I had seen the bird park?  No!  Heard of it…never been there!  She directed me where and how to go.  I set off for a 20 minute walk coming to a “park” but it was the butterfly park.  Why not!  Amazing!

Another 15 minute walk and I found the bird park…more amazing.

A 35 minute walk later and I was back at my hostel!!  I left around 9:00 am and got back shortly before 5:00.  Had a great lunch at the bird park.  Drank plenty of water.  Enjoyed my walking immensely!  And had an amazing experience!

Camera Play!

I’m learning my new camera.  I’d wanted to take it out and take some photo’s to see how it works.  Today was the perfect opportunity.  I’d played with it around the festival grounds and such.  But this was specific preparation for the jungle experience!

Really pleased!

This camera is small, compact, is taking great photo’s and the battery life is quite impressive!  I took around 400 photo’s today and the battery is at 75%!  I would have gone through at least one battery with the old camera!

You be the judge!  Below are some photo’s from my adventures the past couple days.  Enjoy!
