Departure soon! I’m finished with projects. My home is prepared for winter. All my little travel details, as many as I need to get done before beginning my trip, are all complete.
I’ve spent a lot of time online with various tech support people getting things working properly before I leave. Once I’m am in Central America, I may not have WIFI for several days at a time. And when I do, it sometimes is so slow, it takes five to ten minutes to load email. So, anything that requires fast connection, I hope I have that all streamlined and ready to go!
Now, for my final packing!! Final sorting. Only taking essentials. Remembering what I need when I’m actually traveling, and NOT what “Larry” thinks might be nice to have along while sitting in my living room. An interesting process.
One aspect of travel I love…I always learn more about myself. I’ve become very good travel company for myself. And if I pay attention and choose carefully, things always work out for me. Finally, I’m not really traveling alone since I connect with everyone in some way. I am really traveling with everyone!!
Managing Focus!!
Mark Twain: ‘I am an old man and have known a great many troubles, but most of them never happened.’
Look at dad’s focus cutting biscotti for the second baking. Everyday, we focus on something. We either do that purposefully, deliberately and with “awarenessing”. Or it happens automatically and people coast through familiar day.
Now about ready...
Soon, I’ll put away my computer. Clean my camera, organize my carry-on bag for my flight tomorrow and relax with a good book! Ahhhhh…I love not feeling hectic before leaving. I’d much rather go from a feeling of peace and ease and have my travels match that energy. Next up, I’ll post something from Copan when I reach Honduras. Like a dream…go to sleep here, get on a plane, wake in a different world! Awesome!!
The kids and i wish you safe travels Larry! Today marks day one where our little class embarks on the adventures of Larry! We will check in daily and ride along from the comfort of our school desks. Thank you for the invitation, and we will be checking daily for updates!
Safe travels my friend… enjoy the experience….
