Yes, I’ve been relaxing on the islands for the past 10 days. No internet, no phone, generator for electricity a few hours every evening, quiet so stunning it woke me up at night and the softest white sand beach ever!
One ferry broke, the other two were loaded to the gills, it was market day, delays abound and I was finally able to get to Ampana. Now, I’m waiting for a car from Tentena that is bringing passengers here then returning tonight. Rather than take the bus, the car will be much more comfortable. Unlike the last private car where I sat with my backpack between my legs for the 8 hour ride that turned into 11 plus, there are only two passengers scheduled for this car. HOpefully, we’ll arrive before midnight!
Once I get to a place with good connections, I’ll send photo’s!

howdy! In case you are wondering…20 degrees, sleet/snow tomorrow through Wed off and on. Highs on Wed to be single digits. That’s okay…when the sun does come out, we can turn our faces to it and pretend we are on the beach. yea love ya
