A Walk About With Larry

Another amazing moment AND more healers!

I was having lunch at Artini’s before going by motor bike with Dewa to Kintamani and the markets. During lunch, I realized I felt so mellow from the work with Eddy this morning, it would probably be better if I waited until tomorrow morning to go. Eddy did acupuncture with me for nearly two hours, starting the the back, hips and legs and then turning me over to work on the face, chest and abdomen with a few needles from the knees to the ankles. Before he flipped me over onto my back, he took out the needles and then started working in the exact spot that was so achy laying there. Once the needles were out, he moved his fingers off the spine between my shoulder blades, found the spot that was tight, and relaxed it in a matter of moments. How did he know precisely where it was?!

My body feels so relaxed and mellow after that and the energy continues to work. Being mellow and riding a motor bike where it’s crucial to be alert every moment didn’t feel like a good match! And, I don’t HAVE to go today. Decidig to wait came with a feeling, a great sense of ease and relief. Back at Dewa’s, I asked him if we could to it tomorrow? He said yes then said they talked while I was having lunch.

Another guest named Meno wants to go. So, Dewa is going to get his car to take her. Going today means no motor bike, relaxing in the comfort of a car, avoiding what looks like an eventual rain and enjoying the ride. How did that happen so quickly???!!! Another time, after so many occurrences during my trip, and each time I get clear about something, circumstances organize themselves to support it.

Dewa also told me about a village near here with another healer. I wanted to visit the Mother Temple and the Holy Man near there because there are so many stories about him healing broken bones. Dewa started describing his experience with this man and said, “he has healed broken bones too”! I’ve only been here a couple days, have had amazing encounters, conversation and sessions with healers and in that time, I’ve learned about three or four new healers in the area I’ll go visit!

The last time I was in Ubud, the same thing happened! Tonight, I’ll go see the “Holy Knife” which I’m excited about. Tomorrow, I may sit on my bum and do nothing alternating my time between my porch writing, the pool cooling off and reading a book. That’ll give my body some time to catch up to all the healing energy!

I have to go now, my car is waiting!
