Morning test from Iquitos!
Hello! I’m on my last full day at Iquitos. I’ll re-organize my pack, buy a few snacks to take along, and just relax and enjoy enjoying my day.
It rained heavily last night. I got back just before the downpour hit and spent the evening working on my last post. This morning I got up early shortly after six. I went out the door to the balcony. It was cool, which is rare! So I got ready and headed down to the bistro to have a coffee and a baguette, and having a nice full breakfast with bacon enjoying the coolness!
I made a short video this morning kind of explaining the process I went through last night. And whenever I find myself forcing working really hard to make something happen, I stop! No matter what I tried, no matter what advice I got on the Internet, nothing was working. So suddenly it realized: hey! This is at the moment to let go and wait. This morning I woke up and had a completely different idea of pop in. When I’m focused that hard in intense left brain focus, which is restrictive, it’s linear. Linear can’t see outside boundaries. So this morning I woke up contemplating and suddenly an idea popped in my head. I followed up sent an email, heard back, and now I’m in the process of seeing if I can successfully add an audio of the Howler monkeys to my blog.
Patience!
I made this video early in the morning. It has been loading for over2 hours! Yes!! The internet connection is challenging! At home, this would have taken a minute or less
it will be available soon…maybe! Travel flexibility!
This is the sound of our 5:15 AM alarm. These are the howler monkeys known as Rojo mono here, the red monkeys
A few Iquitos photos!
